Facilities' new administrative staff used the potluck as an opportunity to help Kitsap Community Resources' Christmas Angel program.
KCR has placed Christmas trees with tags with names of needy children on them all over the area. Urlacher said the toys that were donated at the potluck would go to the children whose names were not picked.
"It's our way of ensuring that every child gets a gift," Urlacher said.
By the end of the luncheon, which lasted from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., they had filled a large box with toys and Urlacher said there were still more people who had yet to donate.
"It was a great success," she said.
