Swiss music concert, clinic to be held today
Direct from Switzerland and
sponsored in part by the Associated
Students of Olympic College, Ruud
Weiner will be at OC to perform
with music professor Rick White
and Eastern Washington University's
Michael Waldrop.
Wiener is a world-renowned performer,
and will be conducting both
an informational clinic and concert
Wednesday. The clinic will be held
from 1-2 p.m. in Music Building, Room
114 and the concert will be Room 122 at
7:30 p.m. Admission is free. For more
information, contact Rebecca Lujan at

Phi Theta Kappa all members meeting
Phi Theta Kappa will be having an
all members meeting on Nov. 12 from
3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Bremer Student
Center Room 122. They will be discussing
Founder's Day, Phi Theta
Kappa t-shirt designs, scholarships
and upcoming events in the community.
There will be door prizes for
those who attend.
Get your A/C checked
The OC Auto Service Center is now
offering a free air conditioning system
evaluation. They have appointments
available on Monday and Tuesday
during this quarter.
In addition, they are currently taking
appointments for basic engine concerns
such as oil or coolant leaks, timing
belt replacements or other engine
related repairs. There is a 30% discount
on labor for engine repairs. To make
an appointment, call (360) 475-7348.
Financial aid questions answered in sessions
There will be financial aid sessions
for students and their families who
may need assistance in applying for
aid. There will be opportunities for
questions to be answered regarding
types of financial aid, and deadlines.
Beginning Nov. 7, sessions are scheduled
every Wednesday evening at
the Bremerton Campus from 5-6 p.m.
in the Student Entry and Advising
Center SEAC located just below the
Haselwood Library.
Poulsbo campus sessions are offered
one Wednesday per month from 4-6
p.m. and are scheduled to be held
Nov.14, Dec. 12, Jan. 16, Feb. 13 and
March 12. Shelton campus sessions
are offered one Wednesday per month
from 2-6 p.m. and will be held Nov. 7,
Dec. 5, Jan. 9, Feb. 6 and March 5.
