Women winless with weeks left in the season, hope fading

The Olympic College women's soccer
team is 0-10. They have scored a
few goals, but not enough to succeed
in a win. With eight games before the
Northwest Athletic Association of
Community Colleges playoffs they
have a chance to come back and finish
the season on a high note.
Sept. 8
In the opening game of the season,
Lower Columbia defeated OC, 2-1.
The player who scored the goal for
OC was not recorded.
Sept. 11
Lane shutout OC 7-0, one yellow
card handed to Reyna Parcells of
OC.
Sept. 12
OC was shutout by SW Oregon
with a score of 1-0.
Sept. 15
Clark held off OC in a 4-0 win. No
cards were given to either team.
Sept. 18
Bellevue gave the Rangers their
fifth loss of the season, ending the
game with a 1-0 score.
Sept. 21
OC was defeated by Yakima Valley,
1-0, at Memorial Stadium. Jordon
Cottingham received her first yellow
card of the season.
Sept. 22
Parcells scored the only OC goal
at the 90-minute mark, but it was not
enough to stop Highline's drive to
defeat the Rangers with a 6 - 1 win.
Sept. 26
No cards and no goals for OC as
they ended this game with a 4-0 win
for Tacoma.
Sept. 29
Clackamas shutout the OC Rangers
with a 7-0 win. No cards and no goals
scored once again for the Rangers.
Oct. 6
Lower Columbia defeated OC 3-1.
Cottingham scored at the 58-minute
mark.
